E-Prime 3.0 (3.0.3.80)
E-Prime 3.0 Update 2 (Version 3.0.3.80) is a maintenance release that provides bug fixes, enhanced system stability, and improved timing accuracy. The improved timing accuracy includes the following:
  • increases in the number of times E-Prime samples the computer clock, which reduces the possibility of a timing error
  • updates to how E-Prime interacts with the operating system's display driver
  • improved monitoring of suspicious detected refresh rates
While increased timing accuracy is a benefit, it may not be consistent with previously collected data. Therefore, researchers should exercise caution before updating if in the midst of study.  For more specific details on the impact of E-Prime 3 Update 2, see RELEASE INFO: Should I upgrade to E-Prime 3.0 Update 2? [27886].

Intactness of the functions of attention is an important prerequisite for effective behaviour in everyday life. When we are inattentive and lacking in concentration, important information escapes our notice and we find ourselves subsequently unable to recall pertinent details. Practical actions become difficult to perform, and we commit errors. In this respect, deficits of attention have far-reaching consequences for almost every aspect and every activity of everyday life, be it at school, at work, in traffic, or in carrying out other, diverse daily tasks.

Conners K-CPT 2 (Conners Kiddie Continuous Performance Test 2nd Edition)

The Conners Kiddie Continuous Performance Test 2nd Edition™ (Conners K-CPT 2™) assesses attention deficits in children aged 4 to 7 years and 11 months. Based on the well-established Conners CPT paradigm, the Conners K-CPT 2 takes only half the time to complete—approximately 7.5 minutes—making it more suitable for younger children. The results can be used for clinical assessment, early identification, and educational classification. The assessment can also be used to evaluate treatment effectiveness by administering the test before and during treatment to monitor changes over time.
